Seamstress in NYC for Wedding Gown

Hi all!

I'm buying my wedding gown on Tuesday from David's Bridal, which is going to need alterations. David's Bridal said it could cost around $300 for alterations! Does anyone know a good, tried and tested seamstress in NYC that would be able to alter / tailor a wedding gown for cheaper? Any recommendations are acceptable!

    I bought my dress from JCrew and they recommended the two listings below for us brides on a budget. I haven't taken my dress in yet, so I can't vouch first hand about prices, but thought they would be worth a call. Good luck! :)
