• mmm Christmas...my favorite. But...I'd really like fall and pumpkins and leaves and COOL weather first.
• J&K you are broken! How can you hate Christmas music? I heard jingle bells in the ad and immediately wanted to watch "A Christmas Story". I wonder if FI will take me to the house in Ohio in December since I don't get a honeymoon...
• Where are the frickin Hanukkah commercials? What a crock. What was the commercial Bec?
• I thought Halloween candy in August was bad but damn that is a little early there
• I don't hate Christmas music, but it just creeps up on you earlier and earlier every year and it brings so much pressure with it. Last year, I was driving home from the airport after spending Thanksgiving with Buddy, and Christmas music was playing and I was all "WHOA, LIFE. Slow down."And all I could think all up til Christmas every time I heard Mariah Carey was "Is TJ gonna have to choke a biitch?"

• Macy's. I love love love Christmas, but damn! Stop it already. I can't even begin to think about Christmas until the spot where my tree goes is clear of the waist-high pile of wedding crap! 30 days until my wedding. I think that just made me shitmy pants a little bit. OMG!
• I too hate Christmas music. Instrumental only, I love. Crappy lyrics added, I loathe. If I had no conscience, I would throw hot chocolate at carolers, but alas I can not....
• Christmas music comes AFTER Thanksgiving, before that I stick my fingers in my ears
• I don't know, I like a little Rockin Around the Christmas Tree
• They already have the trees set up in Hobby Lobby, Kohls, Walmart and Target around here
• I stopped at Target last week and they had Christmas stuff out.

• Lewis Black's rant about Christmas and it starting way too early. Hilarious! http://www.comedycentral.com/videos/index.jhtml?videoId=41551&title=lewis-black-hanukkah-vs.
• I'm wrong, he rants about X-Mas vs Hanukkah. Still hilarious. I need to find the other video.
• Ahh! Rocking around the Christmas Tree is my favorite Christmas song. I try toward off all things Christmas until the day after thanksgiving when the tree goes up.
• "When I was a kid Halloween was Halloween and Santa wasn't poking his a$$ into it! And Thanksgiving was it's own holiday. No one ever woke anyone up at 4 am the next day and said 'Let's go shopping.' I don't know why they still call it Thanksgiving. They should call it Christmas half time." Ah, thank you Lewis Black
• There are a few Christmas songs I like.  I'm a big fan of Carol of the Bells, and some of the classics.  But NSYNC singing O Holy Night?  Mariah?  Gag.

• There's christmas trees up in our shops (well, in Big W, which is the walmart of Australia) already, too. How ridiculous!
• There was a small Christmas display up at the grocery store today.  Ridiculous!  They could at least wait until after Halloween.
• Way too early!!! Also way too early, but I'm saying HAPPY WEEKEND! I'm finally finished with work, and I'm headed to VA for the weekend to see U2. You guys have a great weekend!
• You know what I LOVE is Valentine's crap the day after Christmas. Because 6+ weeks to shop for candy hearts is never long enough.
• I was in BabysRus last week and they had a Christmas lullaby CD playing.
• Yeah, well I'm a wierdo-freak who actually has a cd of Advent music. Yep, you read that right, folks, Advent music. Sucrets and goheels (and any other Whiskeypalians) can probably appreciate that best. I don't break out the Christmas music until, gasp, Christmas Eve! It helps that I don't listen to anything but NPR on the radio, and do the vast majority of my shopping online.
• This thread is pure blasphemy! Its never to early for christmas, and christmas music is bliss. It starts earlier and earlier every year as a way of rebelling against not being able to say merry christmas anymore or use jesus in christmas motif's in stores. Baby jesus wants some recognition around the holiday season, just like santa does!!!Oh, and nat king cole and bing crosby have THE BEST christmas songs.
• Nope, wrong answer, Nebb! It starts earlier and earlier every because of the crass commercialism that we have allowed Christmas to become.
• You do make a very good point...I find people get way too stressed over christmas and dont appreciate what its supposed to be about anymore. It is all about the gifts, I want I want I want, and a million obligations they have to meet, instead of enjoying the season with their loved ones.
• UGH!  This is why Christmas is ruined for several people, especially for anyone who works retail.
