Sascha

My fellow label lover.I'm planning on buying a ridiculously expensive pair of shoes for work. I'd like to get something that's practical-ish (since I'm really not very practical). I like heels but flats could be okay. What do you suggest? Brands, styles, etc?

Re: Sascha

  • ::butts in to thread:: I like Steve Madden and Bandolino. And my cat's breath smells like cat food.
  • Where have you been! If you like a classic pointed toe pump or slingback, Manolo Blahnik are beautiful and come in lower heels...2.5 and 3.5 inch.  They are really comfortable once they break in.    My most comfortable flats are the Chanel ballet flats. I love Gucci, but they are not very comfortable.  Christian Louboutin can be ok in some styles.  They do a rounder toe pump weith a 3 inch heel that is nice.  (I am assuming comfort since it is for work, and usually 2-3 inches is best for that, although I only wear flats at work because I run up and down stairs all day.)I hear Cole Haan does a great work shoe with an insole made from Nike Air material.

  • Louboutin YoYo pumps.
  • whoops, I missed the part that said "ridiculously expenssive". Reading comprehension fail. What sascha said.
  • I have some Cole Haan's that I don't actually find to be that comfortable! I was sadly disappointed. One of my friends told me that it's because patent leather doesn't stretch the way that regular leather does. I'm thinking about Loubs and Manolos but I also saw a couple of pairs of Choos that I liked as well. I DIE for Chanel ballet flats...now I'm thinking about those. SO MANY DECISIONS
  • Louboutin Simple pumps are pretty classic and comfy too I hear.  Round toe and lower heel.  I tried the Manolo Tuccio pumps and they were pretty nice for a pointy toe.
