Is Thursday Confession Day?

My confession - I am getting so pissed at my job, but I don't know where to go from here. The latest - apparently we can't "stop work" for celebrations anymore. AKA, my friend/BM who I work with can no longer have a 5 minute gathering in the kitchen to give me the office/card gift for my wedding. I have been here longer than anyone else that has gotten married in the last 3 years. So this makes me double pissed right now.

I'm starting to get really irritated with ANYONE who complains about their job. Yes, I realize some peoples' jobs suck. I know the grass is always greener. But damn, I'd be happy to have even a sucky job right now.

Cew, where did retread almost ban you? New confession: I just spent the past 5min on the phone with a coworker judging theshit out of another coworker's bridal shower invite. It's at Golden Corral. She sent them out from herself. "Will accept cash or checks." is written in on the bottom.

my confession is since I moved, our income has stayed the same, but the expenses have gone up so much, I feel guilty even going grocery shopping. I've resorted to pretty much eating only ramen noodles and eggs. This is not healthy and H would kill me if he found out.

There are 30 pizzas in my office right now for a meeting I'm not involved in and I really shouldn't be eating pizza anyway, but I am seriously trying to figure out how to get some.

It was on the second weddings board. There was a girl on there who was still married to her first husband, but had two children by another man (her FI). Her first husband was on their birth certificate and was reluctant to sign the divorce papers. Until they were signed, she can't get married to her FI. She wanted to tell her first husband that she would take him to court for child support for the kids that weren't his if he didn't sign. I told her that I was appalled that she would use her kids as a bargaining too and that she should be ashamed of herself. It just hit a nerve with me b/c I have never gotten a dime from my son's father and would never use that as a tactic to get something that I wanted. Ever. It got messy and other posters were really mean to her. She was mean to them too. She DD'd and another thread was started which Retread deleted. Then Retread made a thread about it and the drama continued. The girl had the worst grammar I had ever seen so I told her that the way she writes takes away from her credibility. Again, other posters were much nastier. I was really trying to help the girl understand how wrong she was. Finally, Retread came back on and told us she was disappointed in us and that we should be ashamed of ourselves. I told her no thanks, I already have a mom. I think I was the least offensive, but I was still afraid she'd ban me.
