My Fiance and I just took our engagement shots recently.  He HATES taking pics and he never smiles.  The photographer was so great and made him feel so relaxed that our pics came out great.  He loved all her ideas and the time flew! Unfortunately she is not available on our wedding day but we would have loved to have her! Her pics aren't the typical cheesy pics, they are very natural and romantic.  We have gotten great feedback! We did David Mielcarek (http://cinematicbydavidm.com). He's got a very funky hip feel to his photos and he was great to work with. I can't recommend him enough!
