I'm sorry that I stole some of your candy out of your van.  By "I'm sorry" what I of course mean is "I hope you are stupid enough to fall for this", but I'm really, really sorry.   I wanted candy so I took some.  I should be able to take candy whenever I want.  I've had a hard week.  But no, I'm sorry.   Really if you think about it, you left the candy in the van and YOU left it unlocked, so really this is your fault.  You know I will still candy.  It's just my nature.  So that should make me totally unaccountable for my actions.  But I'm sorry.  Really sorry.  Are you buying this yet?   Gosh, I'm sorry.  Victim card.  Sorry.  Love, Eastie  (and your snickers bar. which is tasty, btw)

I don't know about kiddies but it would lure more girls for sure.  Especially the lushes that hang out around here.
