Yeah she really turned out to be totally crazy.  And she had that creepy pic of her and her FI and he looked like a scary monster.  Someone told her he looked like Shrek and she wanted me to ban whoever said it.  Haha.

I wasn't flaming the fear of getting pregnant.  I was commenting that I was shocked by how little she knew about how her own body works.  Which, if you read the thread, came out later in the conversation.I don't find a fear of getting pregnant to be flameworthy.  I'm terrified of it myself.  But I take the proper precautions and know how my body works.  I had no idea there were people out there that don't really get how their bodies work.  So, I guess that's my bad, and now I know.  I am sorry for saying you weren't real, amlewis.  I didn't mean it that way, I just meant I didn't know that there were people lacking some of that information.

I have more of a question than a flame, but it's a flamey question. Pinkpinot, I really like you, but do you photoshop theshit out of your sig pics? They always look like you've applied some artistic filter and airbrushed until your mouse hand cramps up and falls off. I want to see your face!

I think what AF means is not that she WANTS to be flamed but when you first come over to P&E and start posting, you kinda hold your breath waiting for it.Very well put! Thanks.

It is totally normal to fear pregnancy, but not to the point where it affects your sex life with your FI.   Kiki, I don't think Moose was equating your behavior with E at all.  You made an excuse about being tense, I think she was referring to that.Amen to that Salt.  ilovemyco, had the ability to make my stomach turn.

I don't have photo shop but I change the picture resolution sometimes using Picnik.  I like the Orton-ish feature and best of all it's, free.

I think it's a huge stretch to compare the two. kiki is usually agreeable. someone mentioned she seems tense. she admitted she was. should she have said, "Actually I'm FINE! Just FINE!" instead? I don't know she was using it to excuse her behavior either, since I don't think kiki felt her behavior needed an excuse.this may be the first time I didn't agree with wading. but it's okay. we can dance it out.

I think there is a world of difference between saying "I'm a little tense today" and then explaining why when someone asks, and using your personal life pitfalls as an excuse for your months and months of crappy behavior.   Maybe I just see one as a blatant cop put and the other as a honest explanation.  Or maybe it's just that I don't have a problem with Kikis behavior or see anything that she would feel the need to explain away in the first place.   But yeah.

LaLa-they think my cat had a stroke too.  He still walks around with his head cocked to one side and walks like he's drunk.I also have to buy a ramp so he can get up on the bed.  It doesn't help that he's 25 pounds (yes, he lost 2).Anyway, I remember back in the day people gave P2 a helluva time on here.  I'm glad that she stuck around.  I have been called harsh IRL so I get that honesty isn't always appreciated. I don't get the whole P&E is lame thing.  It ebbs and flows and sometimes is full of wit and then other times it's just not.  Granted I have only been here for a little over a year, but there were other times when it was boring.  I still manage to find a little to read each day when I am breaking from work.  I do think this board goes a little poll crazy sometimes.Last thing, I hate the use of lol.

I think some people fear pregnancy more than others.Since the only 100% birth control is abstinence (unless you count Jesus and all), then, yes, any sex at all can result in pregnancy.  Birth control fails.So unless she thought she could get pregnant with anal or while lying side by side in bed fully clothed, I'm not sure why sex=pregnancy is an irrational fear.It's kinda the desired end result of sex, biologically speaking.

JK- it's okay, I accept that apology and thank you for that. It just irks me in general when people put down others for what they do not know or understand, especially when they are trying to learn. But, as Wading mentioned, you are never truly 100% and that is where my fear stems from. It is just I have found this man that I adore and we have this vision of life. It scares me to know that things will not always go how we plan. It is life, but life can be a scary thing. That was the whole point of my original BC post. I just wanted to see if I was not alone in this feeling.

I respect being able to say whatever is on your mind and actually having the balls to do it. Sometimes I avoid posts altogether because what I'm actually thinking would just seem completely foreign coming out of my mouth (or being typed on screen) and I would come off extremely bitchy and surprise the fuuck outta everyone. So, I don't. But, I'm that way IRL too. This is me.

Well, actually, someone said kiki seemed tense lately.Kiki responded with "I am!  My dog is sick!"No one really asked her why.  Keep in mind, I actually liked kiki up until the last day or so.  I just think it's hypocritical to accept an excuse for behaviour from one person and not another.  I didn't say the behaviour being exhibited was the same.  They are miles apart as both of you said.Screw it.  Let's dance.

I must confess I have an irrational affection for the use of lol.  I love it.  Ha! Heehee, haha, ::snort::, and all the rest just don't quite cut it for me.  But, out of respect, love and admiration for the peeps on P&E, I refrain... and die a little everyday. ha! (I really meant lol).
