While im totally happy for the ladies gettin babies and houses, I have noticed more and more lately it feels like its turning into the freaking nest here sometimes (with less overshare). I dont remember so many people getting babies and houses a year ago.

I get really irked when people are soo anti-kids. Ok, you don't like kids, we get it. Do you have to be so nasty about it? I don't see many (if anyone) here being all "omg, kids are the best thing ever and here's a million reasons why" So why be that way about why you hate them?

gkb--I'm sorry, I got you mixed up. it's been a long week.I thought maybe it was a sarcasm thing.  I did say at first that I hoped she got some appropriate help.  Maybe it looked like I was supporting her, basically just saying her being BSC wasn't appropriate.I'm not a fan of Kate's picture.  It seems college party like.

I think sometimes the extreme senses of humor aren't appreciated here. Like the -- DOOD I can't believe she said that! I find funny, even if it is offensive, it's funny.

I flamed amlewis last week too, so I feel kind of bad doing it again, but I don't think she's real.  If she is, I was floored by how much she DIDN'T know about her own body.

I think the "who are you" posts come when people start getting too big for their britches or becoming "Post Whores" or start "trying to hard."I didn't do any of this, but anyway... Besides, who's to say that someone is too big for their britches or trying toO hard?

LVB -  it has been pretty well established that most of the kid hating here isn't on children specifically but on our ridiculous baby/child culture we have cooked up here in our socitey. While I want a million babies one day I can definitely get on board with a lot of the child hating.

I think its funny how lately people keep complaining about how much P&E sucks. Granted, it does. But I don't understand why we all keep coming here if its really that horrible? I'm including myself here because I still visit on my lunch break most days, even though nothing interesting has happened in a while : )

I put stuff in quotes because that seems to be the other common threads when it comes to new posters.  Either they get asked who they are, they get called post whores or they get told they're trying too hard.Speaking of:  I think Anna's been trying too hard lately which is odd since she's not new.

I understand the hate for the baby/kid culture, I really do. I even feel that way about a lot of things (like oversharing on FB re: baby functions). But the ones I've seen on here is about how disgusting they are and annoying and loud and yadda yadda yadda. It just seems over the top to me. And I honestly don't have a problem with people not wanting or not liking kids. Its being so mean about it.

That's really petty, Nebb. I don't see why people have to be so biitchy about things. So I'm a Christian and something offended me and I said that. Other people don't go out to intentionally offend someone/group of people.

I love the picture, so I will use it again, you just happened to hate it and I was amused by it at the time. I personally think it was a hilarious picture, though I cant remember if you were pissed at zombie jesus or pros/cons jesus.

most of the kid hating here isn't on children specifically but on our ridiculous baby/child culture we have cooked up here in our socitey.this.  For me, it's also b/c when friends have babies, they get sucked into babyland, and you lose them for like 2 years, during which the only time you can see them is when you go to their house to hold the baby.  Sigh.  So I get  anti.
