but I have to do it for the clinical part of my assessment class. Who was it that knew of some under100 website? I am goggling but not finding much, which is good but bad for me because my paper has to be two pages long.

Try ana/mia sites.  Sadly I know about many from personal experience.

They became better at blocking those sites a few years back.  There is a ton of good literature about ana/mia in B&N and Borders if you are able to use peer-reviewed research along with websites.

I can't use papers about them. I have to visit the sites and write a reaction to them. I also have to find some sites that help anorxics/bulimics, but that isn't hard.

maybe try jezebel.com and search for "pro ana"--I know for sure there is a pro-ana girl who keeps a blog and they (jezebel) used to follow her somewhat.  I tried to find it but it probably goes back over a year now.

There used to be a really good recovery blog called, It's Not About the Food.  Read it when I was in recovery, not sure if it's still around.

Np, what is it you're looking for specifically? That forum I posted is a fairly good place to go if you have questions for people actually suffering (or who have suffered, alot are recovered and still hanging around). They tend to be open to answering questions.

Yes, a lot of the pro-ana sites are run by very immature people who tend to think anorexia/bulimia/edNOS is a 'lifestyle'. It gets old after a while.

I just need to veiw the sites and type a reaction to how I felt reading them. The ones you posted look perfect and sad. We are on PEM (protein energy malnutrition) wasting and eating disorders in class. She gave us this assignment as busy work.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, those websites are not a good gauge of the eating disordered community. They tend to be ridiculous and full of tips like "soak a cotton ball in orange juice and eat it to stay full"
