sang in front of your cat and had her leave the room?my cat is okay if i sing to the music but as soon as the music is off and i'm singing without it she leaves the room.my friend told me that it's a compliment if a cat stays in the room whilst you sing.  she sang opera and her cat always stayed.  that talented biitch.

No but I've had my mom do that before. I used to think I could be a professional singer, and gave her a concert. She smiled, patted me on the shoulder, and left. Needless to say, I'm not a singer.

Yep, my cats leave when I sing (don't blame them), but stay or come in when I play the violin.

Our cat will sit on top of her kitty tower, looking down at me with her head cocked to the side and this look on her face like "You are just ridiculous, you embarrass me, do you know that?"

i bet you play the violin well too.  i always wanted to play the violin.  i am so not musical though.my husband can play the piano and the drums (well).  in fact he has two sets of drums.  i hope to god if we ever have children they'll be musical.

The dog and T just look at mefunny when I sing and dance. Although now that I sing all the songs about the dog he doesn't seem to mind

my h is so sweet.  he told me he loves when i sing and to never stop.  i suck at it, but i sing with all my heart.  especially to heart and roxette.  heh.

My dog howls sometimes when I sing.  He did it when I played flute, too.  And I was good at that.  So I don't know if he's trying to tell me something or not...I don't think I sing that well without a professional singing much louder than me on the radio.

I think I've found the advantage to having a deaf dog. She stays in the room when I sing.J, however, gets scared when I dance in the car or if we're sitting in restaurant or a bar. He thinks I'm having a seizure or something. One day I'm afraid he's going to wedge a knife between my teeth......

Well, the Gerard Butler reference earlier reminded me that I haven't heard the soundtrack to Phantom in a while, so I youtubed some songs and sang along. Petey is in the room with me, but, he's deaf, so I don't know that it counts.
