We had the basic cheddar to start.  Soooo good!  Last time we had the Wisconsin three cheese and it had too much of a bite for us.  But this was awesome.Then he had the spinach salad and I had the California salad.  It was ok, just a salad.We got the coq au vin--he got the Pacific Rim with all the Asian stuff, I got something with filet mignon, chicken, and spinach artichoke ravioli.  It was supposed to be shrimp, but I'm allergic.  And good lord I love the green goddess dressing they have on mushrooms....heaven.  Oh, and an awesome cab with it all.Dessert was obviously the best part.  We got the Cookies and Creme Marshmallow thing--dark chocolate with crushed Oreos in it, and then they flambeed a huge marshmallow cream ball over it and drizzled it in.  We had strawberries, bananas, brownies, cheesecake, rice krispy treats, and pound cake to dip--I wanted to lick the bowl it was so good.  We love the original peanut butter one though too.  It was a tough choice.If you're ever in KC, you and FI and I can go out for fondue and you two can be all conservative together.

that sounds amazing. the basic cheddar is also my fav!if you are ever in orlando we can go out for fondue, too! mmm.

I am a big fan.  We have a full fondue meal every year for Christmas Eve--I started young!

well, vanessa...it sounds like we need to go to melting pot next time you are in town! we're going to a local fondue place next weekend for spower's bach party dinner (Colorado Fondue), but it just isn't the same as MP!

you know what is so crazy, i used to live in maitland super close to the melting pot right off red bug road, and i have never been there. :-/ so yeah next time i'm in town i am cashing in on that rain check!

possibly over the holidays... altho if i get a job soon we may go to paris/amsterdam, if not then we'll be in otown. both options are equally appealing. as you know, i love me some leos :-)

as you know, i love me some leos :-) i love it!let me know if you come in town for the holidays. we can keep it off the boards, if you don't want to meet every single cfl knottie lol. it's up to you!for the record, i'd choose paris. i've never been there!
