Since we talked about dinner...

Let's talk about lunch.  What did you have for lunch today?I made myself a turkey and cheese panini.  I wish I had some bacon to put on it.

  • I had an apple and a poptart.

  • I had a slice of white pizza, it was not nearly filling enough but I have to off set the three oreos I had for a snack.

  • Lean Cuisine Flatbread.  I'm actually really looking forward to it but probably won't eat it for another hour and a half or so.  I just scarfed down a Luna bar because I realized I forgot to eat breakfast (or rather, my stomach realized it).
  • Minestrone soup with some grated parmesan in it, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, 2 clementine oranges and an apple which im eating now. I also had a fiber one bar earlier at like 11:30.
  • Homemade Butternut Squash soup with some high fibre bread and celery sticks.Oh, and a chocolate chip pumpkin cookie.

  • I'm having lunch with my friend - her hubby works at Chili's so I'll be having (free) Boneless Buffalo Wings. If I were eating here, it'd be left over stuffed peppers.

  • Cheese ravioli and a salad. For once, our cafeteria did something right!

  • Some egg salad and four of the biggest grapes I've ever seen.
  • Nothing yet because it's 10:27am.  But I am looking forward to reading what people post for my inspiration.  I am trying to stick with something lower carb and high protein.

  • Either leftover pizza or a turkey sandwich.  So far the pizza is winning.
  • After forgetting a spoon eysterday and being left to eat my soup with a knife, I decided to bring a bagel with me to work today.  I ate a plain bagel with nohting on it for lunch :(

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

  • I'm going to poach leftovers from the giant breakfast potluck we had this morning.

  • nicolea you totally need some cottage cheese, so much protein for a small serving.
  • My lunch was at 9:30 this morning (I work an early shift) so I had Cinnamon Toast Crunch and some fruit.

  • kiki it took me a full minute to realize you meant "poach" as in steal, not as in the cooking method. I was imagining poached french toast.
  • Good idea Nebb.  I think I am going to jump on cew's bandwagon and start eating cottage cheese more.

  • sliced bell peppers and carrots dipped in hummus.
  • not that i'm accusing you of stealing.
  • I had tomato soup with some garlic bread. It was great.

  • Haha... I would love to poach some eggs, but only if I had hollandaise sauce to go on them.

  • I'd planned on eating an Artichoke, Chicken, & Cheese (or something like that) Lean Pocket, but then my mom called and talked me into Zaxby's. So I had the Boneless Wing meal with sweet tea.
  • If it wouldn't get me fired, probably vodka and crackers :)Or just vodka.  Lots and lots of it.

  • That sounds delicious ringpop
  • Speaking of avacados: I have the hardest time finding ripe ones. I bought one about a month ago, and got it home and it was mush. It was soft at the store, but not so soft that I thought it was over ripe. Then last wkd, I bought one that was still pretty firm. I didn't use it for two days, so I thought it'd be good to go. Nope. Hard as a rock. So much for slicing it. I had to throw it out.
  • Good dinner = lame lunch hummus, pita and olives with feta
  • Well.. i heated up a Lean Cuisine -  Asian Beef and Broccoli I think it was. It was horrible. I ate the two water chestnuts out of it. Tossed it.I had some chunks of cheddar I grabbed from the fridge this morning, so I ate those. I may have some True North nut mix. I'm a little hungry, but not inspired.

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
  • I had a swiped sandwich wrap from a meeting.  It was turkey, jack cheese, avocado and yummy.  I also had some crappy tortilla soup from downstairs.  It was not good.
  • I had tofu stir fry with mushrooms and baby corn.  Yum!
