Help?

So the ceremony is Sat and we still don't have a recessional song. My brain is fried. Got any suggestions? The bridal party is walking down to Apocolyptica's Nothing Else Matters. The reception has everything from Ray Charles & Frank Sinatra to Dee-Lite & Jamiroquai. Help?

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

  • We used Rollercoaster by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Do you want fast or slow?

  • We're most likely going to use Accidently in Love.
  • Ricks, we're thinking fast. I just don't like the standards I'm finding online and my creativity went out the window earlier this evening.
  • Cant Take My Eyes Off of You - Save Ferris

  • or I Was Born to Love You - Queen.  That was my original first choice, since it starts off with a choir sound and I thought it would be perfect, but DH vetoed it. Booo.

  • I was thinking Ray Charles "I Got A Woman". The only thing I don't like is a lyric about a woman's place is in her home but other than that, it's fun.
  • Do you like Rock?We used Van Halen's Love Walks In. It opens with keyboards. It was awesome. I loved it.

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
  • I love rock, Missy. I'll ask J about it tomorrow. He's napping with the kitties.
  • Scoetto, J is ALL rock. I'm lyric-driven. I wanted something with meaning, yadda-yadda. Inevitably, they were country, which gave him the cold sweats. I heard that song driving home one day, before we were ever engaged, and thought, "that song should be "our" song, if we ever get married." It was rock enough to satisfy him, but the lyrics were meaningful enough for me.The other songs we agreed on just weren't celebratory enough for a recessional - Iris, Name, In Your Eyes..... but this was PERFECT. When the song came on and we turned around, it couldn't have been better. I just wish our aisle walk had been longer!!I heard it on the radio yesterday, and just sat in the car with it cranked up, grinning from ear to ear.
