Only 3 outs...

Till the Phillies win

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

  • I'm not against the Phillies winning.. I could care less, as I'm a Yankees fan, anyway... but I was intrigued by the prospect of having the Yankees up against the Dodgers.

  • I am very excited to bust out my Phillies t-shirt for another series.(It only comes out for very special occasions, as it is a Darren Daulton shirt, so I am sure you can imagine how old and somewhat delicate it has become over the last... 14 or 15ish years.)
On bed rest since Groundhog's Day and every day since has been exactly the same.

  • Darren Daulton was so cute!  Now he's a bit creepy.  Look him up in Wikipedia :)Cape May is great.  My mother would live there in heartbeat.  We are a big Ocean City, NJ fans.  I'm sorry about the rain, but I bet the wedding was still lovely. For all my love of the area, my fiance and I are choosing to get married in the Caribbean.  Ah well!Have a good day!
  • where in the caribbean?  I live in St Thomas.  But we choose SJ because it was easier for friends.

  • In that lovely "not really part of the Caribbean at all, but we pretend we are" island of Bermuda.  We thought about St. Thomas, actually, but it was too far for some older family members to travel.  I think I actually looked seriously at a place there for a time, but I can't remember the name.
