In case you didn't see my question in the earlier post... My mom used to make the plain gooey cakes when I was a kid but she can't find the recipe. Is the recipe I posted the one you use or do you use something else? To make them plain, you just leave out the pumpkin? Sorry, dani!! I'm horrible about going back into posts, especially when I get called away from my desk. Here's the recipe for plain: http://www.pauladeen.com/index.php/recipes/view2/gooey_butter_cake/It looks like all you have to do is omit the pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg. I'm definitely making the pumpkin one this year. It looks just as awesome!!

Tide, indeed I did!! I can't wait to get them! I did a longer shipping time than I should have, I think, but I've told everyone about the party already, so I'm hoping they come in a little early, so I can get them mailed out. I have my envelopes, pens (I'm using gold gel pen; I wanted brown, but they don't make brown apparently), my stickers (leaves, for the back flap), and stamps ready to go!!
