There's this little town in central Ohio that has this huge Pumpkin Show every October.  We just went for the first time.Two pumpkin donuts (+ a dozen brought home for later), pumpkin brittle, cotton candy, and three deep fried pickles later, I am ready to barf.  My friend went and had a pumpkin burger, pumpkin pizza, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cider, pumpkin waffles, and potato blossoms.  I am way impressed.

God, I hate pumpkin.  I wrote a whole blog post about it.  Every single damn food blog I read is nothing but pumpkin recipes from September through November.  It bothers me.Sorry you're feeling bad, though.

Actually, one of my friends that we went with hates everything pumpkin-related but I think he ended up having the most fun of all of us.  He even got a t-shirt!This festival is huge - they have over 400,000 visitors each year.[url]http://www.pumpkinshow.com/[/url]

I live in said "little town" and it really is pumpkin everything.  Add pumpkin taffy, pumpkin chili, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin blossoms.... the list goes on.
