I had the extreme pleasure of FINALLY hanging out with Tide and Kate51485 on Saturday at the Patuxent Research Refuge where Tide volunteers. It was somuchfun...we watched an educational puppet show about whooping cranes and got to look at all these cool exhibits. Tide is just as wonderful in person as I hoped she would be and Kate is such a sweetheart!! Obviously we are all going to hang out again soon. We saw some cranes, but they weren't whooping cranes. We did see whooping crane puppets though. And other cranes in an exhibit that were painted to look like whooping cranes.

We could have seen the whoopers, but that would have required taking the hour bus tour, and we were short on time, so it was more fun to walk around and talk

Hehehe YES!! Sorry I'm tardy to the party, not working today and I may or may not have just gotten out of bed. I can confirm that Tide and Salt are wonderful as well! Looking forward to future GTG fun!
