Yes! An extra hour of sleep!When I told FI last week that we'd be changing the time, he got upset thinking we set them forward, but I reminded him that we 'fall back.'  He got the goofiest grin on his face and shouted "yes! That's my favorite one!"

I wasn't aware Canada followed it as well, learn something new every day! I also learned that Indiana didn't used to follow, so we would be on EST for part of the year then CST...I am glad that changed I wouldn't be able to get used to that.

Of course canada follows it. thats silliness. I saw a funny comdey skit on leno last week, this guy singing about daylight wasting time or something. By his imaginations weve "saved" 16 years worth of daylight, so we need to start spending it. Sounds silly typed out but it was pertty funny. I cant spell im sorry.

Brooke its not all of AZ right, I thought only certai cities don't follow day light savings.  I used to work in a call center and certain places in AZ we could call an hour before others.

Nik- in my town the bars DO stay open an extra hour.  They reset at 1 am or something, and they usually close at 2.

Moving to AZ doesn't make it any easier because as soon as you have figured out when it's ok to call people, and, more importantly, as soon as THEY have figured out when it's ok to call YOU ( I JUST finished training my mother out of the 5:30am calls), everything changes.

Just turn it off and on and see if it helps.I think it was only part of Indiana that used to not do it. There are certainly a lot of countries that don't observe DST.

oh ok great thanks, I will try it this weekend, turning off and then on. All I know is people told me Indianapolis didn't use to change.
