I feel like quilted coats never look great on people.  I like pea coats better, but it's a matter of preference.

Are any of the pockets functional?  I usually keep mittens in coat pockets.  Those pockets don't look mitten compatible.

The fur thing is really the issue that has me on the fence. It's not possible that they breed the fox(es) and shear them like sheep or alpaca, is it?

Nay.  Just because of the collar.  I hate fur collars. Otherwise, it's cute.  But, I'm a wool trench kind of a girl though.

Eh, not my style.  I think if you're tall and slim like the model it would look good, but if you're 5'6 and a size 12 like me, it would look bad.  Who knows though without trying it on.

I'm only 5'5, I don't know where 5'6 came from.  My point was though, I don't think it would look on every body type.

While I have no moral objection to fur, I'm not a fan of that particular hood. Like Brie, I think I'd go for more of a peacoat (who am I kidding, I will never need a winter coat), but if you love it, go for it.

There are some other cute ones on there too.  I never go on Rue La La.  I hate having to return things by mail if they don't fit.  I'm way too lazy.

Love it. Wouldn't look cute on me - 5'2" size 16, but it's REALLY cute! I agree, not timeless, although, my sister bought one two years ago, and if this one is new now, maybe they're becoming timeless-ish?

I hate shopping for winter coats. Which is why my current boring wool coat his nearly 10 years old and the pocket is ripped.
