BGB

So, apologies if I missed something, but I hadn't seen you around for months, and suddenly you're back again- how has everything been for you? and what brought you back to P&E shores?

Re: BGB

  • Hello. I have been doing ok. The second year following my daughter's death has proven to be MUCH harder than the first. Probably because things have set in and I think too because Zane and I moved out of former FI's house. That was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. Although I love being back at my property. Anyway, I hang out of Face Book a lot catching up with old friends and making making new ones, but I have been on P&E once in a while. I find it's one of those things now that I have to be in the mood for. I guess I have just been in the mood:) I love your siggie picture. How are you?
  • I'm well, thanks. I had my wedding a couple of months ago and had a great time! I keep changing signature pictures because I am in love with all of our photos, our photog did such a great job. I'm sorry about your daughter and the grief. I'm afraid that the saying about time healing all wounds is far from accurate when it comes to losing someone so significant for you. I hope Zane is doing well. Is he enjoying being at your house, too? Have you had any more difficulties with his other grandparents?
  • Zane likes the ranch.. He still has his horse and his chickens, and he likes to play on he property. Things have settled down a lot with the other side of the family, BUT there will always be an element of mistrust for me that I do not think I'll be able to overcome. Thank you for asking about Zane. It warms my heart that so many people remember his name and ask about him. I'm glad you have so many nice pictures of your wedding.
  • You are doing such a great job with him, by the sounds of it. I'm sure all of us who were here (there are a lot of newbies, but those of us who were around last year when your daughter passed) remember your posts from the time. I'm glad that things have settled down with his other grandparents somewhat, and that he is enjoying the ranch. I also hope that you are looking after yourself and allowing yourself to grieve the loss of your daughter. You had so much happen in such a short space of time. How much land do you have at your ranch?
  • I have 7 acres. I'm trying. Trying with everything.
