What's for dinner?

Re: What's for dinner?

  • Thanks AC. I can escape the puppies and rainbows and H1N1 of first tri now at least. :)
  • I tried planning meals once and we just ended up with a bunch of rotting food in the fridge, usually because we were lazy or didn't feel like eating whatever was planned. We usually don't decide until I get off work, then one of us will run to the grocery. I have a feeling that will have to change soon though...We're probably having sandwiches tonight. It's the first day of our kitchen rehab, and I'm pretty sure I'm coming home to an oven in my dining room.

  • I plan in advance because 1) I only have time to go to the grocery store once a week, 2) I am on a pretty restrictive diet right now, and 3) I usually only cook twice a week and then eat leftovers the rest of the time.So tonight is Day 1 of jambalaya (making it right now), which I will also eat tomorrow and Wednesday.

Wouldn't it be nice to live together in the kind of world where we belong?
  • niify - oh GAWD 1st tri gets on my nerves at times.  That's why I still live here.  I'm so sorry, but I think you're doing the right thing by looking on the positive side.  GL, chiquita!
