*Salt* (and other Morrocan Oil lovers)

OMG.  Fi's mom works at a salon so I asked her about it and she brought me a little sample bottle.  Love.  It doesn't weigh down my thin, fine hair at all!  Because my hair is so fine, the ends always look kind of fuzzy, like they're split, even if I just got them trimmed an hour ago.  Not with this stuff.  It's like a miracle in a bottle.  And thanks for recommending it in whatever thread it was!

  • It's the best stuff I've ever found :)

  • Isn't it fabulous LVB? I was scared it would make my hair greasy or weigh it down, but nope!  Just awesome.

  • I had to learn to use it. I would start near my temples and then when I went to straighten it, that would end up being greasy. When I learned to start in the back and work my way up, it was great. I also found out that they make shampoo and conditioner!

  • Yeah, I definitely put it in my ends first, and then work up.  I only go about 2/3 of the way up, and then I comb through it, so it gets just enough at the top from the comb.  It works out perfectly that way!

  • I'm so glad you love it!!! I knew you would. My hair doesn't even like to think about the time before I started using it. :) Isn't having a FIL who works in a salon convenient?

  • It's incredibly convenient, she trims my hair for free for me.  And she does a great job.  Which is saying something because I've been going to the same person to get my hair done since I was 8 and I was terrified to let her cut my hair the first time, but I needed it badly.  I'm glad I let her :)

  • I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Morrocan Oil but hate the price! A long time ago a few girls told me to invest in a salon quality blow dryer and I never did.  Last year I treated myself to a CHI blow dryer and my life/hair has changed.  It is amazing what a good blow dryer can do to your hair.  That's why when  you leave a salon after a blow out it looks so good.  Bite the bullet (if you haven't already) and get a good blow dryer to use with the oil!

  • Ahhh I've been debating a good dryer.  I so rarely dry my hair now (I'm unemployed and spend most of my time at home!) that it's not worth it currently, but when I get a job again it's definitely on my list!

  • I'm about to be in the market for a new dryer. Mine is pretty good now, but it's on its last leg. J - FSIL is a stylist and cuts my hair for free too! Thank goodness she is awesome at it. I didn't even need to look for a new stylist when I moved back to Baltimore.

  • You know what would suck?  If FSIL cut your hair and it sucked, and then you had break it to her that you weren't going back to her.Good thing she's awesome at it, huh?
