I just caught up in your post about the brown recluse!  Yikes!  I'm terrified of spiders.  Esp those.  When was this?  Are you ok?  Did you call the exterminators?True story - I crashed at my friends house in college (rental house) for a few nights when they closed campus (bomb threat, I lived in campus housing).  I got ready to go to sleep in one of the girls' beds (who was out of town), and pulled her pillow off the bed to put mine down - brown recluse there.  I nearly peed myself.

Off topic: I almost peed myself from laughing yesterday. I had to cross my legs to prevent it. On Topic: It was awful. It happened about 4 years ago when Ben was a tiny baby. I never saw the spider, so I'm assuming it bit me in my sleep. It started like a little blister and then got really bad. Luckily, I had a coworker who had a family member who was bitten and he knew what it looked like. He basically said "go to the doctor or your leg will fall off". About a month before that, I was bitten by a  tick and had gotten really sick. That was terrible too. The crazy part is that I never go outside and do not enjoy a lot of nature.

I killed a spider the size of a silver dollar once.  It was in my roommate's room in undergrad and she was freaking out.  It was awful.

Night Sprite - I just pictured Rainbow Brite killing the spider. It was cool.One time in college, I killed a really fat spider and hundreds of tiny spiders came running out. It was like a horror movie.

It was like a horror movie.Cew, me too!  Actually, my ex did it.  I finally had to move out of that apartment.  I couldn't kill the baby spiders fast enough.  They were everywhere.  In my bathroom.  Gross!

It was awful.  Of course, there are other stories about that apartment, but that's another post.  Now, all spiders must be sprayed with spider spray.  Then, their carcass must be flushed.  I have seen spiders come back to life and crawl out of the trash.  Really.
