Do they mention honeymoon registries? A friend of mine is about to get engaged and was talking about doing this. I told her that I wouldn't think differently of her if she did it, but that the general etiquette consensus was that they were tacky. To which she said registering for stuff in a second marriage can be considered tacky. Ouch!

Just a random complaining post, but our Admin keeps walking by my office and she doesn't pick up her feet when she walks. It's driving me crazy and I am seriously considering taking her shoe off and hitting her with it. Or taking my shoe off and throwing it at her. I can't decide.

I've been up since 5:30, and at work since 7, for a meeting. Said meeting was apparently moved to NEXT Thursday, which was never passed along to me. Ask me what kind of day I'm getting ready to have. Yeah. I love the Sneeches. I showed the video in class every year during Dr. Seuss week, along with Grinch, The Lorax and one other I can't come up with. The students would do a chart on how the main character changes from the beginning to the end of the shows.

Salt, last night was hilarious. You must skim the 'oh noes' and 'ed hardy haters' threads. I'm bursting at the seams to tell somebody this, and I can't tell my coworkers: My boss just told me she is nominating me for "Support Person of the Quarter".  If I win, I get a plaque and a medal.  Vote for me!

Thanks guys!  It would be cool to win, except I hate getting recognized in front of huge groups of people...my childhood shyness seems to resurface then, and typically only then I should mention that in the Army, *plaques* and *medals* are like, super totally awesome.
