Re: Who started?

  • I don't think so, Kate--but if it were KA...I'd pee!!

  • Get this -- one of "their own" just posted a new thread about a camo wedding.  And she said lol.  Blasphemy!  I predict that they will now start tearing each other apart like hyenas.
  • I just don't understand what they got so angry about. And I really didn't understand what Chances kept saying about 'taking me out of my character'. WTF? I followed it yesterday, but went to bed I guess before it got really heated. I mean, it seemed like they were really truly offended to the core. Crazy shiit. Oh, and it looks like we can say bullshit too
"In the old days my ass would be in your back yard picking cotton, so excuse me if I don't put much stock in how f*cking awesome the old days were." -Nuggs
  • The thread was basically them calling us stalkers, being really offended and heated, and saying a lot of really low/trashy crap about the knot in general. I think one of my favorites was when a vendor there claimed the knot would go under soon anyway due to not allowing vendors.I stepped in and asked why they even cared. I pointed out the responsibility/vulnerability you take on when posting on public internet forums and suggesting they all calm down and stop making things worse. They freaked out and called me knot trash and I told them they just proved their own point.
  • Okay, we can say bullshit, but can we say shitstorm? As in, "Boy, that was one shitstorm I missed last night because I was busy IRL."
  • My favorite was Grammatically Correctly.
"In the old days my ass would be in your back yard picking cotton, so excuse me if I don't put much stock in how f*cking awesome the old days were." -Nuggs
  • If anything, we learned new curse words from this. We are now good to say Bitches, bullshit and shitstorm. Awesome.
"In the old days my ass would be in your back yard picking cotton, so excuse me if I don't put much stock in how f*cking awesome the old days were." -Nuggs
  • The other side of this is the fact that we kept really calm and collected through out the whole thing. Besides the Annie G freakout, we tried to rationally explain to them that they needed to calm down and stop behaving like beebees. We definitely had a laugh at their expense but they were all up in arms starting secret plots against up and calling us every name in the book. Like some one mentioned above, whenever there is an interwbz war we always take it with a grain of funny salt and the other board just seems to self destruct.
  • Yeah... TK going under.FWIW - when I created a website back in May, I discovered the website from my first wedding was still "active." It said "happily married for xxxx days (whatever the math would have been on 2001 - spring of 2009). BS on that first of all.  And yes, I had THAT deleted. SOOOOOOOO.... TK has been around for at least nine years; don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon.

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
  • LVB - well, she has a son and needs to be a good role model. Which I guess means she never lets her feelings out because she went BCS last night.Stage - that thread was basically telling girls "oh, go check your email!" and being really obvious about a "secret plan" to report anyone on WW who was also a knottie (i.e. Meaghan) so their accounts would get deleted. There was also a bunch of discussion about how they could have some sort of secret code or handshake for membership and perhaps a non-compete clause, so that when you sign up for WW you pledge to hate the Knot for all eternity. Oh, and to make their entire site flash so people can't copy text or right click and save images that, you know, members throw up on the internet for everyone to see. I find it interesting that all the other boards we get into it with always go BSC in retaliation, when everyone here stays relatively level headed and normal. Whats up with that. Exactly. They were really ANGRY whereas we were just laughing about the whole thing. Who CARES if some message board you've never heard of (or are too scared of, as some of them mentioned) thinks your idea is BSC? Why would the internet make you so angry in real life that you would threaten people and use your job "contacts" to do who-knows-what?

  • Meg- I had never posted over there before last night. But that doesn't mean I was fake I still usedthe same screen nameas here
  • I know, I had forgotten about salt's bennigan's bio, too.  I clicked on her real bio and wondered what they were talking about.  Then clicked on her knot one.I cannot believe that they thought the Bennigan's thing was real!!

  • OOOh my apologies Roxy, I thought you were the one who asked them originally if the Ed Hardy wedding was, 'for real.' Sorry doll! Either way it was nice seeing you over there :)
  • It's comical to me how currently, they're all dissecting new user names who only have however many posts, and have only been a member since a certain date, and if there info is restricted, and on and on. And WE'RE the stalkers???
  • I missed this basket of BSC, and I'm sad because of it. Good lord! bitchesbecrazy! Salt, I'm even more in love with you now that I've seen the Bennigans's bio. And I didn't think that was possible. Marry me?
  • Psst, Bec. We can say bitches. Thought you would like to know.
  • The funniest part about all of this, to me, is that they are so serious about it. It's like they are honestly wounded and damaged from all of this when it's just entertainment to us. It makes me thankful to be on the sane side of the fence.
  • No problem. I had fun over there. I even gave real, good advice to somepeople
  • So I just got back from lunch and saw that Sucrets reposted what that chances chick said.  Holy.
  • So in the crazy girl's post she posted how we took her out of her character.  I don't know if it is just me, but I do not have it in me to be a threatening nut job.  So how is it out of her character to do that if she is able?  No one put words in her BSC mouth.

  • I agree. You don't just go crazy all of the sudden and start making insanely poor choices. It's always in there and something just knocks it loose.
  • The most interesting part about it all is that rather than redeeming her BSC moment, she just checks out. If I went insane like that, I'd want to make amends (assuming I felt strongly about how I reacted), not run from my behavior. But then again, it's awful hard to come back FROM TYPING IN ALL CAPS FOR HOURS.

  • Especially if those caps are all swear words and how you're going to eat someone's eyeballs for breakfast.

  • I agree with you all.  I just don't get it.  And now more of them are GBCWWing because it's 'literrly' the cool thing to do?

  • I have WW question.  Isn't is inconvenient having the vendors posting crap all over the posts?

  • Yeah, cew, I guess she's IN character all the time. The character of a semi-normal person.OOOh my apologies Roxy, I thought you were the one who asked them originally if the Ed Hardy wedding was, 'for real.' Sorry doll! No, that person was a "real" poster! Which is part of the BSC of it all. She's not a knottie and they jumped all over her for actually questioning someone's highly questionable choices. And she didn't even criticize, just question.

  • Yeah, but it must not be as bad as having us around.  They think we're hussies.  They are also getting more and more worked up over there as the day continues...what gives?
