The Ed Hardy bride sounds fantastically stuck up.  "I'm a show stopper what can I say?"  Really?I wonder if OP bride realizes that unless you're somebody important, and would be able to afford a big budget anyway, no company is going to put themselves out there to sponsor a wedding for Joe and Jane Blow.

something is just not right with Dan's future wife? They have been together for 3 years but had to keep it a secret because of religous reasons. They want to do a surprise engagement for family and friends who do not even know they are dating. Now DH and I are the same religon so I do not know.  But something tells me if you had to date in secret because of religon, your family is not going to be too keen on a public reenactment of your engagement. I can see this not ending well.

I don't get it either, lynda.  Maybe once they're engaged everything is magically okay?But it does seem random to drop such a bombshell on them.If DH has surprised me with a public proposal, I probably would have said no because it would have shown that he didn't know me at ALL.

I know that everyone here likes to trash women on WW for some reason... but I just want to let it be known that I belong to both and I most certainly am NOT a dumbfu*k nor am I stupid... with the exception of a few typos every once and a while I know how to spell, too. Just throwing that out there

aie - you really don't need to justify yourself.  We all know that they're gross assumptions and don't necessarily apply to everyone.  But saying this over and over is not doing you any good here.

Yeah I know... I guess it's just like I feel like every time I post on here it doesn't get read. I think it's just because I'm not used to the formatting yet. Hopefully once I get to know people on here (as much as you can know someone online) I will get used to it and stop being so obsessive over being heard! :-D
