Plus Size Apparel - Mother of Bride

My mom has put off buying her dress, she's had some health ailments and is only now getting into the spirit of the festivities.

I don't really know her size, but she is on the heavy side.  Aside from Macy's, any suggestions on reasonably priced stores that would offer a decent line of evening wear or specific mother of the bride gowns for my mom?  Trying to stay away from black and dresses that look more like moomoos!  TIA.

    I was at Davids Bridal over the weekend and they had dress that went up to size 18 and even size 24.

    Did you buy anything?  My fmil went to the one in Bklyn and wasn't very impressed and found an amazing dress at Macys.  I want more options in case we can't find a dress there, too.

    I'd hop a train to RI and go to Botticelli's in North Providence, RI!!!  They were AMAZING to my mom & me!  They are EXTREMELY welcoming & they took an experience we were dreading to the best part of my wedding planning!
