Talk to me about BM dresses. (long, sorry)

Have you thought about going to a regular store just like Nordstroms or Dillards? I'm a huge fan of buying regular dresses as opposed to actual BM dresses. The quality is always betterI agree with this. None of my girls like the dresses at DB or AA because the quality wasn't very good for the price. They narrowed it down to white house black market or ann taylor's celebration line. they picked the ann taylor one and the quality was AMAZING. dupioni silk for $118!

Sarah, do you know how often they go on sale?  I love them, and I see a few that would probably look good on my friends, but most of the ones that come in a color I'd want are way too expensive.

they have periodic sales where dresses are 30--40% off. check back every few days and you will find one. that's how we got such a great deal on ours! they loved them but thought they were too expensive, so i stalked them evey day until they were running a 40% off sale!

30-40% off would be perfect!  Especially if they're true to size.  I'll definitely show them to my girls and keep an eye on them.  Thanks a lot!

Opalsky:  I haven't seen them but my BMs love them too.  My mom saw one and thought it was gorgeous.I also like the Ann Taylor ones too.

oh, and i had 2 d-cup bms. one dropped out of the wedding a couple of weeks before, but one was still in it and loved how the dress fit. the strapless had high quality boning and a "belt" at the top that you tighten before you zip, so those babies fit like a glove!

That's great!  She's either a D or a DD, I can't remember.  But she's tall, and fairly slim, so she's worried about things fitting her chest.  I just hope we find at least a couple things that fit her well, it's her first wedding as a BM and I don't want to totally scar her for life!
