Shiloh is 100% aussie. Jessie is a yellow lab/border collie mix.Aussies need socialization when they are young so they will get along with other dogs. Shy is adopted and didn't have that. That mix is going to be very energetic! Don't be surprised if he tries to herd people. (Curb that if you can). However, I love herding dogs. They are very loyal and people oriented. If you have any other questions let me know. We just finished obedience. (Thank God.)

Jasmineh I do have one question actually, how early did you start obedience training? Leo is only 9 weeks old, and we're taking him to get his next booster shot next Wednesday so we'll talk to the vet too, but I would kind of like to start as soon as possible. He's a chewer   We haven't seen any herding yet, but we've only had him since Saturday, so we'll see!LP- We definitely need a puppy playdate! I still feel bad for not going to see Jordan, but apparently we're impulsive puppy adopters. Leo was the first one we saw, we didn't even make it to Brentwood   We just couldn't pass him up! Also, Lowes sucks monkey balls. We weren't going to get our carpet until next Friday (more than a month after we ordered it and the day we get our first weekend house guest from out of town), until DH finally got as mad as me and apparently he convinced the dude to work on a Sunday. So we're getting it Sunday now. If you have any free time on Sunday feel free to come over so I don't have to hang out with the carpet dude all day Another friend of mine is bringing her beagle puppy over to keep me company, so we could have a party!

The dog trainer at the store I worked at brought in a puppy for her demo dog. His breed is similar to German Shepherd size wise and very herding/guarding (I forget the breed right now though). He used to herd the customers if they went into off limit areas of the store, and would houdini his way out of the training room to put himself between me and angry customers. I love that dog.

Fish obviously comes from a good gene pool.  21 is ok if you're only looking, although it's kinda disturbing that I'm technically old enough to be his mother.  blech, yep - that put me right off.

Teresa are you using tinypic? If so, it sometimes helps to type out the [img] part instead of copying and pasting the whole thing. Oh and LP that is a really cute picture :)And fishy I think I want to be adopted by your family. You guys look awfully happy and fun.

I've had bad luck with Lowes, that's where we got our washer and the guy showed up without hoses and pretty much refused to do the installation that was included. Unfortunately they have a crazy good price on the range that I want, so we'll be going back.I could definitely come by Sunday! Ginger has been a little funny around small dogs, I think she's scared of them, so she might hide behind me and refuse to play with the puppy for a bit. Hopefully being around one for a little bit will get her over that.
