I think this poll is too hard. I'm terrible at coming up with five words for stuff.I dunno what kind of person I thought I would marry... when? When I was in high school? I've been dating FI for almost four years now and a lot of my thoughts on marriage have been formed during this time. I guess one thing I thought back then was that I'd be marrying some sort of dark, sensitive poetic type.I'm going to be marrying a hilarious, outgoing, well-loved, tall, eternally five year old, smart, tall jock of a speedskater man. I guess the part that surprises me the most is the jock part. Never thought I'd attract someone like that.

I never in a million years thought I'd bag a guy as nice, thoughtful, loving, generous, etc as Mike.  I was treated like crap by pretty much all the previous guys I "dated".  It wouldn't have taken much to be better than the last guy.I think I pretty much answered that.  So I'll add that when I graduated highschool and went to college I had an idea of when I'd want to get marry - if I could choose.  I hate when people plan their lives.  However, in my head I thought that 27 would be a good age to get married and maybe consider kids at 30.  I had plans to become a platform artist, travel the world, concentrate on me.Now here I am at 23.  The kid timeline is still the same though, and that's if we have any.
