A couple of my friends in Detroit went to a wedding last night with 850 people. And 35 BRIDESMAIDS!! I don't even have 35 people I am close to. It was an Albanian wedding so I guess it is a cultural thing. It is pretty much expected and dictated to include every single extended family member and everyone you know. Makes me glad I am a heathen orphaned white girl.

I will see if they took any. The Detroit Chaldeans have weddings just as huge. There is also a huge Armenian and Serbian community there. But it is also customary to give over $500 for a wedding gift, according to my friend, who may be exagerrating. I really need to see these pics too.
