Hi ladies!  How was Monday post dst?  I'm super sleepy.

dnb - i LOVE the new siggy pic.  Love love love.

I spent my day working and working on my application for the bar.  Ugh I cannot believe I have to take the bar.  Again. 

I did find out that I did well enough on my ethics exam so I don't have to take that again and the score will transfer to Minnesota.

What are you all up to?

Hi!  Thanks for the pic love.

I am just finishing making hommemade chocolate chip cookies.  H asked me to mail him some hangers so I'm putting together a little package to send, including  cookies.  My last sheet is in the oven now. 

That stinks that you have to take the test again.  But at least its a plus that the one transfers over.

I iz here. FI went to be at 7:45 tonight. wtf mate? I think it was because he ate too much of the pasta carbonara I made and he was so blissfully full he wanted to end the night on a good night.

Its all gravy though, but because he didn't put the dog in his crate I am going to have to wrestle our lab to get off of the bed and into his crate when I am ready to go to bed.

Why do you have to take the bar again? I tell you what, I wish I just went to law school. After college I wasn't sure what I wanted to do but I knew I liked law so I did a paralegal certificate program. Every damn professor in program asked me why I didnt go to law school. shame of it is that I was just lazy

Hi Rosie!

I have to take the bar exam again because I moved from Illinois to Minnesota for my H's job.  I took (and passed) the Illinois bar in 2006.  In MInnesota I could have transferred that score within 2 years of taking it but it expired already.  They even allow you to waive in after 5 years of practice - but I only have 4 years under my belt.

So I have to take it.  I didn't in July because it was the week of the wedding.  It sucks balls dude.

I'm not really sure that they won't melt Andy.  We'll find out though.  We have a foodsaver so I'm going to vaccuum seal them and see how that goes.  I'm keeping some for myself too so if his get ruined its not a total loss.

I'm doing the research to put together my homework assignment that I put off last night.  Hopefully it won't take me too long, since I just want to take some Tylenol PMs and go to bed.

I'm here for a little bit... survived the root canal. I'm sore and cranky, but at least that's over with. And I've gotten my energy back so I think that infection was worse than they thought.

Just sipping water tonight... don't think combining beer with vicodin is a good idea. Hehe. Watching House and waiting for H to get home.

Oh Ciaram, I'm so very sorry to hear that. That is just heartbreaking.

I'm here. I'm recovering from contact dermatitis (allergic reaction) on my face from when I got my upper lip waxed last week. Apparently there was something bad in the wax because the next day I woke up with my face patchy and swollen and hot. Then it got itchy and prickly all at the same time. Lovely. Feeling/looking better now, though. I guess the universe wants me to grow my fu manchu back in, though.

I definitely could!  They actually turned out a little raw in the middle, but thats how I like cookies so I'm okay with it.

I seriously have the best chocolate chip cookie receipe ever.  My aunt used to work at a big bake shop in my hometown and stole the recipe.  They are beyond delicious.  So much for my pigout fest ending yesterday.

I did notice Sara, thanks.  Someone else came in agreeing with me too.  That girl is just annoying me because she called her real wedding a small promise.  No you mornon.  Its your wedding and a huge committment.  Now she's basically trying to get me to stop posting, and complained that no one congratulated her on getting married.

Other than that I have had a decent day. I need to start baking again. I do miss that. I just need to give my kitchen a deep clean before I do but I really have to leave it up to DH as any and all cleaners make me sick right now.

Haha I know what you mean.  I've noticed how much I think that same thing as I get older.  And I know how frustrating it is because I used to get told all the time that I looked way too young to be a teacher, and when I worked at the high school I used to get asked for my hall pass.

But I'm guilty of it too.  When the ortho doctor came in to re-set my wrist after breaking it, she really looked like a 15 year old boy because she was super tall and skinny, and had really short hair.  I just looked at her and said "I'm sorry, but you look like I should be teaching you, not you resetting my broken wrist."  I'm pretty sure I offended her, and I think she put me in extra pain for it.
