I am attending an A-B-C wedding shower (double shower with mine) and I was assigned the letter Y.  Any ideas on a gift that starts with the letter "y"?  I got nothin'.

You guys are good at this game!  I feel bad but nothing on her registries start with Y and I know I at least prefer things off the registry.  I feel bad for whoever got "Q".

If they have bedding on their registry, you could buy some of the bedding and on the card write something like,  "to cure your Yawns"

That might be pushing the Y theme a little bit, but at least she could get something off her registry.

Would this be jank?  I found yellow dishtowels in her registry and then she also elected for "sunflower" fiesta ware... would it be jank to get her the two pieces of "sunflower" fiesta ware with the towels?  They don't really go together theme wise besides kitchen. 

*shakes floppy fist at person who got the "sunflower" oval platter exactly in my price range*

If there are any outdoors type things on the registry, like the hard plastic outdoor entertaining dishes, you could make a Yard themed gift.

Unfortunatley the couple didn't register for much so it's kind of tricky.  I guess I could go with your bedding theme and get them comfy bed pillows.  Who hates pillows? 

Nebb, I couldn't agree more.  It's cute for the recipe cards that go with the shower but the gifts part is a bitch.  I don't mean to sound ungrateful but I'd much rather get the stuff I registered for (because I need it) than a bunch of random stuff.  I live in a tiny apt...extra stuff is not an option.
