50 minutes left of parent-teacher conferences. It's been 5 hours and I've only seen 27 parents. Out of 75. Sadness. I was hoping to have a better response.

Ugh. I'm in class. Last week we had a sub, who apparently didn't cover a topic well enough, so we're getting the same lecture we got last week. It's pretty ridiculous. Also, my teacher wrote her own text book, so basically all she does is read the text book and sprinkle it with personal anecdotes, which I could do without. It's gonna be a long semester.

I just finished dinner (tacos).  Waiting on J to finish dinner so we can play for the rest of the night.  That's disappointing that only 1/3 of the parents came.

Boo... I would so be there if I was a parent! I'm at work for 45 more minutes, then grocery shopping. I have to clean the house tonight - we got back from our wedding last night and it looks like we're hoarders ATM!

I'm waiting for H to finish making me dinner (bbq chicken, oven fries and green beans - kinda have a perfect hubby).  I really want beer but its raining outside and I don't feel like going to get it.

Also, I put FI in charge of making crawfish etouffe tonight. I'm eager to see how it turns out. I mean, it's not hard. You just sautee a bunch of vegetables, then throw some crawfish in at the end. Hope he doesn't find a way to fuuck it up.

I'm racking in some OT at work. Our night receptionist called in sick so I volunteered. Easiest 27/hour i'll ever make and with this wedding to pay for I just couldn't say  no!!! So here I am cruising the boards and answering phones.

Stacks, I love tacos. I never make them because Shane doesn't, so I just have to get my tacos fix from Taco Bell. The school catered BBQ for us, since we don't get an official break.

I'm taking Civil Litigation. One of the things I need for my paralegal certification. We're talking about calendaring, which we talked about last week. Really, lady, I get how to work a calendar and I get how important it is to not let prescription (statute of limitations for all you common law people) run out. Srsly.

Well ya know with the time zone differences, plus I kind of have a job now so I'm usually on my way to work at about this time.

And I may be a widow soon.  Last night H told me he "found some clothes" that were still packed downstairs.  the "some clothes" are about three loads.  Add in we have crazy humidity, so these have been sitting down stairs getting all mildewy smelling.

Nope, and I don't plan to. I have zero interest in it and it's an elective, so I don't have to take it. I like Civ Lit ok, but my teacher works for a personal injury plaintiff's attorney and her frivolous lawsuit stories drive me up the wall.

The attorneys I work for only do oil, gas, and mineral law. We have all of 2 clients, but they're really big clients. And we never see them. After I get my certification, I wanna go work for a defense attorney. I can't decide if I wanna do criminal or civil though. I know I definitely wanna work for a defense attorney. I think that would be so incredibly interesting.

Yeah that's my deal. Funny, tomorrow is actually my year anniversary at my job. It'll be another year probably before I'm done with the certification and I imagine I'll wanna go do something besides oil and gas by then.

I have been in the field almost 5yrs., I just hit the 3yrs. at my current office....I hear how some of the secretary's get and hellz no do I want to sound like that. That and you know....it gets boring! Hence my Knotting :)
