S/O Lost

I've never watched it, and I'm not sure if I should start.  From what I've heard, it starts off great and then spirals downward... 

So what's your opinion of Lost?  Recommend it to others or not?

Mark and I were watching the pilot I think and then there was a polar bear.  We both looked at each other like WTF and changed the channel.  I don't think I could do it (especially after hearing about loose ends-I am practically OCD about loose ends on TV shows or movies.)

H and I started watching it on Netflix instant play. We are so addicted; we are at the end of season 2 and we just started a week ago. It's all we do now when we are at home. Losers, I know.

This is the best show I have ever seen. Ever. I highly recommend it. I loved how it ended. Yes it was frustrating that a couple of things didn't get answered but a lot of the loose ends really do get tied up if you read in between the lines.

It was a GREAT series up until the last season.  (I still voted amazing though!).  I loved it, but I was definitely disappointed with the finale.  They just diddn't answer all the mysteries they started in a satisfying way. <sigh>  Fresh wounds!

EDIT: The most annoying thing to me about the finale was that everyone I told I didn't like it, just assumed i didn't understand it.  But I did get what they were going for, I just didn't like it.  To me, it peaked in season 5 and then they wasted the opportunity they had to complete it in season 6.  But definitely  watch it now.  So much better when you dn't have to wait a year to see what happens!
