What did you get for hostess gifts? (XP on Recap)

My surprise shower was yesterday and I want to show everyone who helped how much I appreciate their efforts.  I will need gifts for four BM's, my aunt, MIL and my mom. I realize I know my friends and family better than anyone on here, but I'm just looking for some suggestions, particularly budget friendly since I have so many to give. My one bridesmaid pulled most of the weight of planning my shower, so I'd like to get her something a little more.

[QUOTE]I got my sister two nice candles at Marshalls.  She loves to light candles and take bubble baths.  What about wine?  Bath salts?  Picture frames?

Loving the wine idea. Some of these gifts will have to be shipped, so the frames and candles work. I need a Marshall's in my town because they are great for these kinds of things. Bath salts... make me think of face eating zombies. hah!

  • My mom took care of the hostess gifts for my showers.  She found these really cute bracelets, and I gave those to all the hostesses.

  • I gave nice bottles of wine to my aunts and nice boxes of tea to H's aunts who don't drink but do enjoy tea.

I gave my BMs Bath and Body Works shower gel, sugar scrub, and lotion (it was buy 2 get 1 free), my mom a hand care kit for gardeners, my FMIL a wooden sign (found at World Market for 1/2 price), and my FSIL a variety pack of mixers.  I would check out World Market, Tuesday Morning, and TJ Maxx if you have any of those close to you.
  • The only shower I had was thrown by our church, and I had 17 hostesses. I couldn't really afford to do much with so many hostesses, so I used Photoshop to create a pretty decorative-something with a quote about great friendship, framed them and gave them to the hostesses.

This post reminds me that I need to get my baby shower hostesses gifts since my shower is Saturday.
  • I got my mom (who didn't technically "host" but I know she helped my sister out a lot) a bottle of wine and a restaurant gift card.  I got my sister (who hosted) a six pack of Bud Light and a restaurant gift card.  Since there were only two people, and I am so grateful for how much they have both helped me with so much wedding stuff beyond the shower, I spent a little more than I would have if several people were hosting.
  • I gave my bridesmaids little boxes of Godiva chocolates. My original plan was to bake cookies and put them in cute boxes, but the morning of the shower I got sidetracked at the farmers market and ran out of time. Cost a little more than originally planned, but the ladies loved them, so that's what counts!
