My Soon to be Mother in-law thinks that I HAVE to make my fiancés cousin one of my bridesmaids and I'm incredibly rude for not wanting to. The cousin is really nice and all but I just don't know her well enough and I would rather have a few life long friends as maids instead of the whole crew. Is it proper for me to give in and make her a maid out or is it right for me to say its my wedding and this is what I'd like to do? Is there a right way of letting them down. My mother in-law has already told her that she would be a part of it
without consulting me.
