I used to LOVE Vanilla Ice - but then again, he was popular right in my prime tween years.  Good for him that he has actually parlayed some of his earnings  into a new business rather than partying it all away.

After seeing Slash from Guns n Roses sewing curtains on Trading Spaces years ago, nothing surprises me.  I'd love to know what vanilla ice's qualifications in real estate are.

This cracked me up soo much for some reason, and I didn't even see this happen.  The Vanilla Ice thing is just weird.  If he showed up to renovate my house I probably wouldn't recognize him.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I went to a Vanilla Ice concert back in the day.  I will not be embarrassed to admit that I'm watching him on his new TV show (because I won't be watching!)  I think it's great that he has made something of himself, but I'm not interested in seeing him on TV.

I saw Vanilla Ice in concert at a club in Scotland back in 2007 and it was EPIC! It's as if he's completely oblivious to public perceptions of him. I don't know if I'd watch the show though, it would be interesting to see what his ideas and tastes are.

Apparently, he was a huge fan of the show so when a former bandmate of his was on it, he came over to help out.  Really fuuny is that no one had to show him how to use the sewing machine.

I think he would be taken a little more seriously if he went by his real name.  The "Vanilla Ice" part spurs too many jokes for him to be taken seriously.
