Mery, I need that too! I have GOT to get more motivated....there's a workout room 100 yds from my apartment, yet I'm too lazy to go.

Jill -- mostly alt rock.  Basically, if I hear it, and I like it, that's my style of music.  I'm completely unhelpful, I know.  My favorite bands are Flogging Molly, Lifehouse, and Within Temptation.

Ok, fine, lately I've put Usher, Kesha, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Jay-Z on my ipod. And Gaga, but I'm not embarassed by that.

I downloaded a new song called "Little Lion Man" by Mumford and Sons, which is sort of British folk-rock. Usually, though, I don't download things until I happen to think to do so about 6 months after the song comes out, you know?

Oh, Baystate, I love Lifehouse. I don't know why I forgot them. Rick and I saw Cavo, Lifehouse, and Daughtry in KC in May. Lifehouse was by far my favorite.

If you like Matt Nathanson, you might like old school Howie Day. Also, Old 97s. I really like them, especially Fight Songs and Satellite Rides.

Pink Floyd, Duran Duran, Keb' Mo',  Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Crowes, Bon Jovi, The Cure, Firehouse, Goo Goo Dolls, Indigo Girls, John Legend, Norah Jones, Tears for Fears, Van Halen,  Daughtry,  Buffet, etc.

Not a lot of newer stuff, but good stuff.

lol I think it's funny that you're embarrassed by Gaga and not Miley! You and I have similar taste in music, though, I also just downloaded a few Ray Jay songs that are surprisingly good!
