It sickens me to think that you are so insecure about yourself that you feel the need to establish your dominance over another person who has just as much a right to be on a PUBLIC internet forum as anyone else. I honestly have no idea how one would go about getting someone's OP banned by reporting.  I don't know how many times you would have to report it, or from how many AE's or have separate people do it.  But considering that the mods on E (and I'm assuming SB, since Meghan didn't say anything about it and I don't believe she would delete someone's OP like that) say that they didn't do it, somebody (or somebodies) must have messed around with the report button (or KA) until it got deleted.  That's the part I don't like.

I don't know who did it, and I honestly don't care (and I'm not speculating, either).  I think it's just sort of ball-less, ya know?

Guys, a few things before this gets out of hand:

I enjoyed Amoro's posts here, and wish she had not been banned. I agree that whoever reported those OPs here is a toad.

The decision to ban came from Knot Staff, after a lot of warnings about her posts here and on other boards, because Amoro was just as blunt on other boards as here, and it wasn't well received on boards that don't have a culture like this one does. Her banning wasn't directly related to her posts on this board, this week. If Amoro had stuck to this board, she would not have been banned. If Amoro had not reacted bluntly and with profanity to posts on other boards, she would not have been banned.

I think KA felt she did not owe Amoro an explanation because she'd already issued a lot of warnings, and that those warnings hadn't had any effect. I'm disappointed to see Amoro go, and don't want to see anyone else go the same way. Can we stop pointing fingers and stirring this crap, please?

 Oh, I agree. I just have an investigative mind, and given my experience, the theory doesn't work out to be just one person reporting.. but then again I don't know how it all works.

I flame TK last night for being so slow it essentially shut off all talk.  I had to do all sorts of wedding stuff without any good procrastination material.    That kind of wedding prep efficiency is no fun at all.

I've been lurking for a year- but I think that this week the drama on this board is out of control. I can't for the life of me understand why you all care so much and act like teenage girls. And for the PP that stated that I should leave bc I pointed out the utter ridiculousness of your swearing, note that your new Mod just pointed out that was one of the reasons for Amoro's banning. So, unless YOU want to get banned and stir the pot some more, I suggest you take her advice and act like an adults.

Yeah, the drama is out of hand, but you're coming across as awfully preachy.  If Opal or Squirrly think someone's language is out of line, they'll say so.  Leave the chastising and wrist-slapping to the mods.

Everything that Opal and Alix and Kiki said is true.  But I concur with the flames for people clicking report.  Got a problem with a post?  PM me or Opal with why.  We'll either delete it, if it's appropriate, or let you know why it's ok.  We're resonable adults, right? 

I also flame anybody who is a reg elsewhere, doesn't post here, and swings by only to complain, take potshots at people, or to defend someone other than themselves in a post.  I can't even begin to come up with a complete list of names, though, so I'm not going to try.  If the shoe fits, though. . .

Okay, let me be specific for you.  When I said "they"  I did it because obviously I know that not ALL of the SB board is involved in this drama and it's unfair to pretend like they are.  The new SB might have started with the core group of Heels, M&M, Cew, Bec, Betrothed, etc but it has changed a lot since then and there is a whole new crop of people over there - I get that.  When I say "they" I'm referring to Heels and the girls on her off-board who are from E and the new SB.  I won't name any names further than that. If you aren't on their off-board, you aren't in the "they" and you can just move along now.
