Tipping

Hi Everyone!
I'm not sure this is the right board to post this, but which vendors do I tip?
All? Some? (I definitely know it's not none!)

Pretty much all of them have not said anything about tipping/gratuity except my limo service and the wedding hall coordinator.

So here are my vendors. Tip, no tip?
- Wedding Musicians (string trio)
- Wedding DJ (I think we tip...right?)
- Wedding Planner
- Wedding Videographer
- Hairstylist
- Makeup Artist
- Florist
- Wedding Officiant

I think that's it. (My brother is the photographer, so no need to worry about that...i'm getting him a gift.)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated =)

Thanks!

Re: Tipping

  • I'm not sure about the actual vendors, but you for sure tip the hairstylist/makeup artist.
  • if the vendor owns their own business, don't tip them. tip everyone else. the officiant--it just kinda depends.
