We are looking for a venue that would be able to host both our ceremony and reception. We really don't want it to be gaudy and our wedding is very small. No more than 50 but no less than 30. There won't be bridesmaids or groomsmen either. Our budget is 10-11K (not including HM) so I guess the venue shouldn't be more than 6-7K. I won't pay more than $600 for the dress and probably no more than $2,000 (maybe less) for photography. We might do w/out centerpieces and flower arrangements (except for bouquet and boutonniere). The favors would be something simple and we're doing cupcakes instead of a cake.
ETA: Our wedding is a year from today which falls on a Thursday.
Do you think this is doable? Please let me know if you guys know of any places. I'd prefer Manhattan or Brooklyn.
