That happened to me earlier.  They were trying to fix some stuff and didn't quite succeed.  I told the knot gods that my button disappeared and compared it to the old knot.  Not sure if I pissed them off or not, lol.

The original DDD was partially filmed on the campus of a school near me.  Where DH got his PhD, actually!

DH has issues with the drums.  It doesn't help that I started off as a percussionist and harp on him for not playing with correct stick technique (that's what she said?).

Okay I still don't get the concept of merkins. I spoke to my H about these a while back and the only thing we can think of is that women use them for cover instead of hair for hygienic reasons.

The first time I heard about it was in reference to 19th century French aristocracy. Apparently syphylis (sp?) was so prevelant that merkins were used regularly to cover up any indication of the disease.

Sorry, I was checking out a friend's blog.

capri - she changed it b/c it had her last name in it.  She gets married in 2 weeks!  We met up for dinner one night and had a nice conversation!

Yep, a merkin is a pubic wig and lauren is right.  Although I thought I also heard that they were used b/c people shaved to keep things like crabs away but still needed to look natural.  I want to say they made a comeback in the 70s with the love of pubes, but I could be making that up.
