FFF Request

So, I'm pretty sure I'll get flamed for this.

Even though I didn't participate in the KPP thread yesterday, I think it would be really great to not do a FFF this week. It seemed like a few people didn't even particularly like FFF, and on top of that, it was great to see everyone being so helpful and supportive of each others insecurities and self-image problems.

The NPS also pissed me off to no end. E is a great group of ladies that make me laugh on a daily basis. Many of you said things to me when I broke off my engagement that made me feel like I was the strongest person in the world. The overwhelming support I got from many of you was really sweet and kind, and I appreciate it so much.

It's probably extremely presumptuous of me to post this because I'm not a reg or around as much as I used to be, but, I just think it would be a nice moment of silence. And let me tell you, it took a LOT of courage for me to even post this because I honestly don't know if it's my place to even suggest something of this caliber.

So, flame me if you'd like or there can be a FFF. Just food for thought.

Re: FFF Request

  • I think it'd be dead anyway because of how many people (Canadian and American) took off work today for the holiday weekend.
    image
  • I just assumed there wouldn't be an FFF today because no one has started it yet and the day is half over, and there has been a really positive vibe on the board this week so I figured no one would want to start one.

I didn't see there as being really any need for one today. Most of the suck is gone from around here lately.

EDIT: To be honest, I'm actually feeling a little more love festy than anything else. Ew.

  • I didn't figure there'd be one this week anyway because there's really nothing to flame at the moment and as Arb said, there's hardly anyone here, and those of us tht are will probably not be here until late like we normally would be.

  • Salt- are you saying you want a...love fest?
  • I hear you.  I loved the KPP yesterday, and I think with the positive vibes already going around the board, there's really no need for it.

  • Yeah normally it's going by now... I also just figured we weren't doing one. I'm fine with that. I'd hate to kill that warm fuzzy feeling we all got from yesterday's KPP! (sans the NPS post... I think there should just be a standing flame for whoever pulled that move.)
  • AK, I was wondering if you could email me. Louisvillebride at yahoo. Thanks!

  • If we WERE to do a lovefest, I'd have to start by saying that since MisCourtney has stopped using such excessive punctuation I read her posts a lot more and I think she's kind of adorable.

  • Oh please, don't ruin everything by starting a love fest post.

    Nuggs, I agree re: Courtney.

Cutie pie Jordyn didn't hurt either.
  • Since I started the whole FFF dislike thing, I agree.  Not saying we have to sit around petting bunnies, but I'm totally okay with letting it go.

  • Neugget- I agree, she's adorable. Her and I also had a sweet little message exchange, I decided then I liked her.
  • I kind of figured we'd skip it this week and I'm glad :)  Too much mushiness isn't good, but I like the positive vibe we've had going lately.

Good, because I abhor bunnies with a fiery passion that burns deep in my soul.

  • I don't think FFF will be gone for good.  I just think we've settled into a good vibe here lately.  I'm sure it will come back next week or some week when there's a lot of drama going on.

  • So I just have to say that I used to think FFF stood for "Flame Free Friday" and I didn't get why that meant everyone would flame each other. (I know, I'm awesome) BUT maybe I was just seeing the future since now it does seem to be Flame Free Friday!

Is it because they're steathily evil? I like bunnies, but they will bite your finger off if you look at them wrong.
