NYC Honeymoon

DF and I are from Oklahoma and are going to be going to NYC for our honeymoon in late May.  Any suggestions for things we have to do/see/eat?  We already bought tickets for Wicked, Chicago, and Yankee's/Redsocks.

well you have to fo to Juniors

, the seaport is also nice around that time but you have to check if it wil be up and running it has been dead sonce hurricane sandy.

MOMA is nice too if you want to go to a museum but a more fun one is The Museum of natural history but if you go to an museum dont pay full price its just a donation they cant charge you just give them like a dollar or something thats a tourist trap

Google Manhattan walking tours, and pick one of the walking food tours of the various neighborhoods.  Then you get authentic NY and not just tourist destinations.  Also you could do a pedicab right through central park (or rent a bike)--i don't recommend the horse carriages.

Sorry ladies, the Museum of Natural History is full price only. The Metropolitan Museum of art has a donation policy, usual price is like $17 or so and $5 per person is reasonable. It is a world class institurion. Skip the dangerous pedicab rides, and just walk in Central Park , make sure you make it to Bethesda Fountian. And at the ballpark remember you take life into your own hands if you root for the Red Socks in NYC.
Eat some New York street food. Ride a double decker bus. Shop at Century 21.

Actually the Museum of Natural History has the same type of "suggested donation" policy as the Met Museum of Art. You can pay whatever you want at either of these museums, in spite of the misleading signage. Tourists don't understand this and they spend a fortune. You really can give either institution as little as a penny, if you're so inclined. The Nat History's Planetarium and its special exhibits, though, aren't by donation and are pricy. But there is more than enough to see at the main/regular part of that museum. I always feel for the tourists who over pay at both of these museums. If you have the funds: it's appropriate to help them with their considerable costs. But if you're struggling: don't let the "suggested donation" keep you out. These museums are there for EVERYONE.
Ohter suggestions: Central Park, 9/11 Memorial, Chinatown, theatre (other than Wicked/Chicago, maybe: Once, Ave Q, Peter & the Starchatcher), Staten Island ferry back and forth, maybe: Willamsburg, Coney Island, bars in the Village: west or east or Lower East Side bars, eat ethnic foods (look up places on yelp), don't just stay in midtown, do a walking tour in a real neighborhood, hear some music (smalls, fat cat, pianos), shop for cheap stuff on Canal St, Guggenheim museum (pricy but worth it), walk across the Brooklyn Bridge maybe, eat NY pizza (check yelp or other sites).

I would skip the South Street Seaport and Junior's. But that's me.
If you want old school NY deli food, go to Katz's on Houston Street and share a pastrami sandwich, then wander around the lower east side, below Houston Street on Ludlow, etc....
