I feel like the results, with no explanations are going to go into the magazine, and then people are going to come on here and say "90% of people don't give plus ones, so I don't have to invite anyone's SOs!  The Knot said so!!!"

Well we invited SOs, which are not plus 1's. But we also extended plus 1's to our truly single guests.

I invited everyone's SO and I also extended plus one's to all of my truly single friends.  Of course the extending of plus one's to single friends is not necessary or required but we had it in our budget to do so, so we did.

We're having a small wedding and wanted our friends that may not know many people to be comfortable with at least one person, and extended + 1's to them, as well as all guests w/ SO's. We made sure to budget accordingly.

We included +1's for everyone. I sorta counted on several of H's friends not bringing anyone since they haven't for the last 3-4 friend weddings we've been to and they have never had girl friends as long as I've known them.

Several of them brought dates after all. Go figure.
