I want to ask my best friend to be a bridesmaid. We have been friends for about 15 years. She means everything to me, and I need her to be at my wedding. The problem is she lives in NY, and I know it would be financially difficult for her to take time off, buy a dress, etc. How can I offer to help without offending her?
