How much are you paying for makeup?

I know this is a personal question, but I'm not sure if this is a good deal or not.  I met with a MUA at a bridal show.  It's $100 for the trial and $175 for the bride.  She said that after the trial if you book her, the $100 is credited towards the make-up session.  So, basically the $175 is for both.  She would travel to my house.  I don't think there are travel fees, but I'm not 100% sure.  Does that sound like a good deal?  I was going to skip the trial and just go to MAC on the day of my wedding.  However, it would be nice to have someone come to my home though.

    Hello!

I have booked someone to do my make-up and hair on the day and that of my bridesmaids (I have 3).  The $100 seems standard for a trial as that is what I am being charged for a trial for just me for my hair and make-up.  I think it's great that it will count towards the $175 if you choose her.  I have gone for a package that means it will cost me about $83 for each person's hair and $83 for each person's make-up, so again, your quote seems reasonable.

    Hope this helps!

Those prices are very reasonable from what I paid and what I've seen around here. You definitely want professional make up on your wedding day sine it makes a big difference in pictures. It's also nice to have them come to you instead of you running around to places on your wedding day.
