Nighty Night

Re: Nighty Night

  • Oh, yeah Season 3.  Season 2 was his brother.  And yes, Danny coming in 2nd was a TRAVESTY.

    Alex Wong getting injured was so sad.  He was my imaginary boyfriend of that season.

    [QUOTE]In Response to Re: Nighty Night : IMO, They do that because in the early seasons, the hip hop dancers all went home so early.  I don't think most of the voters know the difference between good and bad so they just go by who's the cutest/strongest personality and what the judges tell them.

    <div>
    </div><div>I mean I get that, but I still get annoyed that hip hop is so harshly judged. That ish is not easy or intuitive for many who have been trained in classical ballet. </div><div>

  • E2E, Musu.
  • Danny Tidwell turns more beautifully than anyone ever. I loved seeing his and Neil's Prince dance in person. LOVED.

    Can we talk about PASHA. *swoon*
    image
  • Also I wanted to junk punch all the judges who kept hating on Danny for his "arrogance". He was just quiet FFS. Neil had the arrogance, for sure.

    I'm jealous you saw that in person. One of my favorite things ever on the show was Danny's "We are the Champions" solo. Gasp. I might have bawled a little.

    Loved Pasha too. We were myspace friends at one point, haha. He's so sexy. Loved him in the West Coast Swing.

    </div><div>And yeah, Pasha is delightful.  Do you remember the solo he did after Anya was eliminated with her dress on a dummy?  That was awesome.</div>

    Totally agree with this. I liked Neil too, but he definitely had a conceit about him. Which I was fine with. But yeah I wanted to punch the judges for how they treated Danny. I assumed they did that to manipulate the audience so he wouldn't be the runaway winner? TV needs drama, and Danny got screwed.
  • Was that the solo with the cape, Muni? What that man can do with a cape. Mmm.

    Yeah, Daff, that solo was absolutely insane. I hold every contemporary male contestant up to Danny Tidwell standards. He dances with the Norweigan Ballet now, which is so random but adorable.

    <div>That made me nuts too.  His training was in ballet.  In ballet you don't fucck around in rehearsal all the time like the bway kids. It's not arrogance, it's respect.</div>
