A few more good photos came up on the photoshare site this morning, and I wanted to share.

First Dance:



The garter thing... and I only show this one to tell this story. The DJ was a good friend of mine, who also happens to work for the radio station that sponsors the Indianapolis Colts. DJ got H an authentic Peyton Manning (worn on the field kind) jersey and presented it to him right before the garter removal. H put it on, and proceeded to hunker down like he was the QB lining up and started calling a play "BLUE 42!" Hahaha everyone was cracking up. It was a great, unplanned moment for the night.

Missy- Thanks!! My florist totally outdid herself. All the flowers were absolutely gorgeous - and they've all lasted. Our bouquets had the same gebera daisies in them. My parents took a handful of the arrangements to keep in their house, and they're still as beautiful as they were on Saturday.

I love those gerbera daisies. I wanted  them in my bouquet but I think I remember them being really expensive or something.

How is your H's tennis elbow? Are you guys taking a HM?

We were able to get him in for a cortisone shot a few days before the wedding, so his elbow is feeling much better. He's still wearing the brace at work but at least he can use his arm again.

We're not taking a honeymoon right away... I'm off work this week just relaxing. We will probably go to Aruba in the winter. I'm supposed to be researching All-Inclusives this week to see what we can find.

I am glad the shot made it feel better so he can get through the work day.

We looked at Aruba but ended up going to Jamaica instead. It was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed every minute of it.

H has been to Aruba before and is determined to take me there. I'm sure no matter where we end up, it will be wonderful. This sparked me to start looking now.

I love it! Hey after you walk down that aisle, it is such a big relieft to know that you made it. A drink before the reception definitely takes the edge off.

Oh yeah! And I think I only had 5-6 drinks total all night. That margarita in my hand there is the only full drink I had. I kept losing my drinks at the reception on account of wandering all over the place, talking to everyone, and putting it down to hug someone.

Yup, I know what you mean. The reception is the fun part, but you are so busy and can't stay in one spot.

Haha yeah my MOH literally came and got me, made me sit down, and told me I wasn't allowed to get up until I finished all the food on my plate. LOL! I think that was the longest I stayed in one spot all night.

pink- Thanks! He was absolutely glowing all day. I'm loving these photos!

baystate- I was soo happy with the cake!! I brought her a photo of a similar one I found with roses and I said "do this" with gerbera daisies. Hehe. And it was delicious! And yes, he was thrilled with the jersey. Totally surprised. It's hanging up in the apartment now, and I finally had a chance to check it out. It looks legit, with the "NFL On Field Equipment" tag and all.

Haha my sister just called... this morning she was looking at my niece's Nintendo DS, which she was playing with all morning while we were getting our hair done, getting ready, etc. Sis gave it to her to keep her out of trouble while we were all busy. Apparenly the DS has a camera on it, and my niece snapped about 40 candid shots! She's going to get them on the photoshare tonight. This should be interesting... my wedding from a 7-year-old's perspective!
